1. Contact

Fill out our contact form and I will get in touch to pick a day and time that would work best for you so we can connect by phone. We will go over what type of session you are interested in, and discuss what you are looking to achieve during your session.

2. Booking & prep

When you are ready to book, just give me a call and we will get you on our calendar. Sessions are not booked until contract, model release, and retainer are complete.

After booking you will receive a product guide. You will also be sent to our style & select guide to help prepare you for your session.

3. Shoot session

The shoot will be on-location or at your home (Newborn session). For on-location I can suggest some appropriate places depending on the look you want to achieve.

4. delivery

All photos will be available for viewing in your gallery within 4-6 weeks of your session. All products (mounts, albums, ect.) will be delivered within 4-6 weeks from ordering date

Question 1 // Do you require a retainer and reservation fee?

 

Yes, and the RETAINER & RESERVATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE

If you purchased one of our portrait sessions, a 50% retainer is due to hold your session date and time. The remaining balance will be due 10 days before your session.

 

If you purchased one of Petal by Petal packages, to hold your session date and time, the retainer will be $250, with the remainder being monthly payments and the last payment being due 30 days before last session date.

 

Question 2 // Do you travel?

 

I'm based in Lawrence, MA, and I'm open to session anywhere in Essex and Middlesex County. I love to travel and can have my bags packed pretty quickly if you desire a further commute and provide travel expenses. I do not have a studio and currently an exclusively on location, natural light photographer.

 

Question 3 // How many people are allowed in the session?

 

All sessions allow up to 5 individuals, with the exclusion of a headshot session, which only allows 1 person.

 

Question 4 // Should I get my hair and makeup done? If so, by whom?

 

Where your makeup as you usually do, but if you are interested in getting your makeup done by a make-up artist. I can get you in contact with talented individuals I have worked with previously. Please keep in mind that these individuals are independent artist from Life Petals Photography & Design and have their own fees.

 

Question 5 // How long does it typically take to get images?

 

You will see your full gallery at your viewing and ordering session which is typically with 4-6 weeks of session date. If you choose not to have ordering session your online gallery will be uploaded 4-6 weeks after your session.

 

Question 6 // How do I use my print Credit?

 

All session fees include a credit to purchase photos. Each session will have a set amount indicated when you book your session. Your credit can be used to purchase digitals or prints depending on your preference.Once your session is delivered. You will receive a code to be applied at your check out with your credit amount.

Credits can only be used on products within your gallery, and not be refunded.
